Daemon Tools is a free iso reader that might be useful when you have the iso file. Remains the question what should be on the SD, the single map files? In what format? The iso file? Maybe the YouTube video can give you the info, and then it's a matter of copying I guess. Explore the RNS 510, the latest generation now. But you have a PC (probably) that has a cd/DVD writer (most likely). Maybe it's a simple case of copying the files to the SD card? (I can't imagine it's going to be that easy.) Anyway, any help would be gratefully received. I have seen a youtube video showing how you tranfer the files from CD to SD using the RNS310, but unsure how you do it outside of the unit itself. (V2 - UK / Ireland and V4 - West Europe.) However, I'm looking to get these copied across to SD card. I have the Nav maps that came with the car from new. Unfortunatly the CD palyer mechanisum is defunct, so all I'm left with is the Radio and the SD card reader. I have checked around on the net to look for places to download the software but came up with nothing. I will be writing another guide to updating to maps version 4.0 (2012) at some point for the RNS310, I'm hoping to get V50 (2013) soon aswell. I have a 2010 Passat with an RNS310 headset.
